Migration
A common task is to migrate clients from an aging server or platform, to new hardware.
Most common is the migration from the (now unsupported) Windows NT4 server platform to Microsoft Server 2003 Standard (or Small Business).
We are able to provide the new hardware, preconfigured with the Operating System, user accounts and active directory structure in place. This reduces the downtime in the business whilst transfer between the servers takes place. We usually ensure that data transfer takes place over night wherever possible.
We also have the in-house skills to migrate from Linux and Novell Netware server environments.
