Small Office Systems
Small office systems usually comprise of an entry level or mid range server, with between 5 - 50 connections wired via a cat5/5e/6 cabled network.
Recommended operating systems here are Windows 2003 Small Business Server, which provides an incredible amount of power at an excellent price.
We ensure that all server based systems we provide have redundancy and backup facilities as standard (A server shouldn't be a server without these!).
We configure Exchange server as the mail transport, and can set up secure VPN (Virtual Private Network) connectivity for remote workers to access systems from home or other site offices.
We also ensure that a good AntiVirus and AntiSpyware product is used, to prevent infection from email and web site bourne viruses.
Remote web based access to emails and shared calendars are included as standard, as is desktop faxing if required.
